Hi, we are David & Maria Kelly, and we live in Marion, Indiana. We have two sons, Tim and Mike.
Tim is our oldest son and is eighteen years old. He currently attends Indiana Wesleyan University and is majoring in Christian Ministries
Mike is sixteen years old and in 10th grade. He started driving this year!
Currently, David works for Wellsprings of Freedom International as the leader of the Indiana Regional Training Hub. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies. Maria is a CRM Systems Manager for Adult Enrollment Services at Indiana Wesleyan University National and Global. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems.
We are disciples of Jesus Christ and members of College Wesleyan Church in Marion, IN.
God has done some amazing things in our lives and shown us mercy and grace beyond anything we could have ever imagined. We have witnessed several miracles, which have truly been life changing.
Lamentations 3:21 (NLT) says, “Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this,” and goes on to say, “Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness” (Lamentations 3:22-23, NIV).
We are well acquainted with suffering, as you will see from our story. However, even in the midst of suffering we can have hope. In our relationships with God He is certainly the faithful one. We are amazed by all that He has done for us and the ways in which He continues to teach us who He is. Our goal in life is to truly love God and love others. So, with that in mind we are writing this story, and felt that Lamentations 3:21 was a fitting title.
We pray that you, too, will grow in knowing God on a personal level and experience His great love, so that when you go through difficult times you’ll remember this and still dare to hope.
